Set up your email app
You need your email address, your username and your password. All of them come with your setup email. If that email lists different values from this guide, use the values from the email.
The settings
Many apps find the right settings on their own once you enter your address and password. If not, choose manual setup and use these values:
| Setting | Incoming (IMAP) | Outgoing (SMTP) |
|---|---|---|
| Server | vaultmail.ch |
vaultmail.ch |
| Port | 993 | 465 |
| Encryption | SSL/TLS | SSL/TLS |
| Authentication | Username and password | Username and password |
If port 465 is blocked on your network, use port 587 with STARTTLS for outgoing mail.

vaultmail.chas both the incoming and the outgoing server.

Webmail
When you are on the road, read your email in the browser at webmail.vaultmail.ch.
Not working?
- Login fails: check your username and password. Passwords are case-sensitive.
- Receiving works, sending does not: check that the outgoing server uses authentication with your username and password.
- Still stuck? Write to contact@jehli-informatik.ch and mention the app and the error message.
